Diger area is still in the most backward and dark area of this most backward district of Assam. They needs immediate attention. Travelling through the area it is useless bring BSNL, Airtel, Aircel Mobile which have services in this Dima Hasao district of Assam.
None of the above have network services there.Meaning no telecommunication.Road communication is also very poor. No Railway communication, whereas Agriculture production is good.All the families there have enough food grains for their family. However, no modern facilities are not available. Most of the villages have no road.
Specially, excepting Thingvom and Mongjang villages, no other villages of Diger-Kuki area have road. There is no medical facility, Water Supply facility in those villages. They have been demanding separate constituency since many years back. Hence, they were given a separate constituency, including some of Boro Diger area.
The people of the Diger area were so glad to have their own separate MAC but died untimely. They are now eagerly waiting to elect their own representative. It is expected that they will elect the best candidate who will be able to solve the problems of the area, with love and dedication.
