AN APPEAL

It has been sharply noticed by the District Administration that some anti-social organizations are attempting to create trouble in the district by way of unlawful firing, throwing of crude bombs, burning of houses in tribal villages, attacking rly personnel,etc.

 It is re-iterated that the Dist. Admn will not tolerate any sort of unlawful activity by any organization or anti-social elements and strict action will be taken against the law breaker for the sake of maintaining peace, tranquility and communal harmony of the district which are major factors for development. All the people of the district irrespective of caste and cree and community are appealed to maintain communal peace, harmony and tranquility in the district so that development may flourish in this beauriful town of Assam as well as of the North East. All the people are also requested to contact the Dist. Admn immediately after receipt of any information about anti-social elements/miscreants trying to foment communal tension and creating law and order situation in the district. The district Administration always looks formwad for communal peace, harmony and progress of the district and under no circumstances the situation will be allowed to be disturbed by activities of anti-social orgn/elements.
