Haflong, March 10: “Kaleidoscope-2015”- an event featuring photo exhibition (past and present), fine art painting and Origami was inaugurated by CEM of NCHAC Debojeet Thaosen today at the Cultural Institution Hall, Haflong. The programme was organised by Cultural Centre, Haflong (Cultural Affairs Department) in collaboration with Visual Arts & Creative Society, Haflong.
The CEM in his short speech as Chief Guest of the programme expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Haflong Cultural Centre, especially to renown social worker Delaidao Daolagupu, Rajdeep Kemprai, Dwanel Kemprai and their team for their initiatives for organising the programme of its kind for the first time in Haflong. The Chief guest also said that through this kind of exhibition, the people of Dima Hasao could have a vision for the past and present at a time.
The CEM also released the book ‘Dima Hasao in Frame’. The programme was also attended by EM Kulendra Daolagupu, EM Debo Prasad Hojai,Dy Chairman Tushar Kanti Deb, Chairman of Haflong Town Committee Kalijoy Sengyung, Vice-Chairman of Haflong Town Committee John Phoitong, senior Citizens, Dignitories and other Officials.
