Haflong, August 9:- A massive cleanliness drive was held in Haflong town area this morning, Sunday August 9, especially in the market area and approach road to Haflong Lake.
The drive was conducted by the District Administration in collaboration with N.C Hills Autonomous Council under Mukhya Mantrir Nirmal Aru Seuj Asom Abhiyan. The cleanliness drive was participated by government officials and public from all walks of life under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Ms Juri Phukan.
NCHAC Principal Secretary(T) Ramesh Thaosen also join the cleanliness drive along with Principal Secretary (N) Kumud Kemprai. It was also joined by Officers and staffs of the District Administration, Officers and staffs of both Normal and entrusted departments of N.C Hills Autonomous Council, NGO’s, Social Organisations,etc.
