Haflong, May 15,2021 : Expressing concern
over the rising of COVID-19 positive cases, the AABCC appeal all to follow
protocols effectively to contain further spread of the infection.
The All Apex body Co ordination Committee, an
umbrella organization of almost all the Apex body of all communities in Dima
Hasao district, issued an appeal on May 15 at Haflong.
The Appeal remind all about the outbreak of
the first wave of Corona Virus from Wuhan in China on 31st December
2019, which slowly spread in the rest of countries and made huge damage. In
India too, during the first wave of COVID-19 many people lost their near and
dear ones which is unprecedented. After much try, research and analysis conducted
by the scientist in India and abroad, with the support of the people by
following the COVID-19 protocols laid down by the Government of India, able to
decline the devastating rate of the spread and mortality caused in the first
wave of COVID-19. But this does not last for long.
The AABCC considered the second wave of
pandemic COVID-19, which have arrived India in March 2021, is more vulnerable
than the first wave. Within a short period, the number of positive cases and
mortality rate is on the surge which is increasing rapidly day by day compare
to the devastation cause in the first wave when it is at the peak in India.
The AABCC, therefore, appeal to realize respective
responsibilities to save humanity as a loyal citizen and stand united to fight
and win against the present pandemic with a spirit of ‘Live and Let live’ which is possible by following the strategic
protocols laid down by the Government –
1.Wear masks when going out;
2.Stay indoors and avoid meeting friends and relatives if
not necessary;
3. Maintain physical distance of 6 feet from others.
4.Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
5.Avoid attending mass gathering.
6.Get vaccinated if you are eligible.
7.Get tested if not feeling well.
8.Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed
hand.
9.Cover it when cough or sneeze with a tissue or clean
cloth.
10. In case you notice anyone with positive symptoms of
Covid-19,in your locality inform the concerned Authority to avoid the spread
because it spreads mainly from person to person.
The
AABCC convey heartfelt thanks and Salute to all the frontline warriors of
COVID-19, associated with Health & and Family Welfare Dept.
