A train passenger was robbed on a train after being sedated, Haflong NCC Cadets saved him

A train passenger was robbed on a
train after being sedated on Tuesday, 

Javi Nampui (30), a native of FIANGPUI
Village, Haflong was doped with sedatives and robbed Nampui boarded the
Guwahati –Silchar passenger Train on September 2 Coach Number D2 Seat Number
60.



 



The Train started from Guwahati railway station at 12:15 AM.

“After the train Started three co passenger who was sitting next
to me started a conversation, they asked me where am I going after I replied Haflong
they also said that  they were earlier
staying at Haflong and the discussion was onn, 
after some time they offered me biscuits and soft drink but I declined,
at around 2 Pm I felt sleepy and after that I don’t know what happened” Nampui
said.



 



According to Fiangpui Village Headman some NCC cadres (Girls from
Molhoi Village near Haflong Town) who boarded the same train from New Haflong
Railway Station to Silchar found Nampui 
in semi unconscious state and asked him his Name, he only said I am
Nampui, after learning  his surname  the girls immediately contacted other people
of Biate community,



 



 “we requested the girls to
take Nampui to Silchar as we have some of our villagers there, the girls did so
and some of our people received Nampui and took him to the doctor and after
treatment he was brought back home, Faingpui Village Headman Said. He also
requested the Railway to look into the matter.



 



 



The news was widely circulated through social media and all
appreciates the NCC Cadets who saved him and wished Javi Nampui good health.



 



When contacted, the Heads of the Lieutenant Dr. Loilungthianglimi
Nampui, ANO NCC Haflong Govt. College, informed that the cadets who saved Javi
Nampui were Cadets of 62 Assam Girls’ Battallion, NCC Haflong Govt College,
Haflong. They were 13 cadets accompanied 
by  two seniors.



 



She also praised
her cadets saying, “Team work and thoughtful act of the cadets helped safe a
person’s life”.
