Haflong, September 30- The Haflong District Karmachari Parishad (HDKP) submitted a memorandum to the Principal Secretary (T) of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, Haflong on 27th September,2011 and urge him to make immediate payment to the pending salary of the employees.
The memorandum, which bear the signature of its President M.L.Nunisa and Secretary A.Das stated that the Education Deptt. Employees under the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council, Haflong are not getting their monthly salaries for the month of Sept. 2010 till date and as a result the employees are facing tremendous financial troubles due to non-getting of their monthly salaries.
The memorandum, further says that 12 nos. of M.E.Schools, 13 nos. of High Schools (Plan) and 102 nos. of Recognized M.E./High Schools (Fixed Pay) are not getting their salaries as a result the employees spending their lives in recent times with their families are very painful because they are not maintaining their families in proper way.
They,therefore, request to release the pending salaries of the state employees (Plan) wherein the employees come out from the present financial acuteness if the employees are not getting the salaries within a short period and warn that the HDKP has no other alternative but to take agitational programme.
