One Local tribal went to Lumding for some purpose. He became very hungry after strolling from here and there.
Very hungry, but had spent all money. Now, in empty pocket. He went to Railway station, thinking and searching for, if some known person was there to request for offering him something to eat.
But he couldnot find any such person. He became sad and worried. At last, idea struct him.
So, he directly went to a nearby tea stall and asked the owner
“Puri ketna dam hei?”
Owner : “Palate me dos rupya.”
Tribal : “Sobji ketna?”
Owner : “Sobji ka dam naihei.”
The owner wondered, but could not denied as the person argued him so much.
As such, at last, he offered him one plate of jobji with a heavy heart and considered himself very lost.
As such, the tea stall owners or managers of small hotel there used to reply “Puri kasat sobji milega” whenever ask, since that incident, is said.
