Continuing with its Civic Action Programme, the Haflong based 25 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarters 22 Sector Assam Rifles constructed Public Toilet Block (four toilets) at village Mahedev Tilla, District Dima Hasao.
The Commandant, 25 Assam Rifles handed over the Public Toilet Block to Gaon Burah in presence of secretary and village members. Commandant also assured that the Assam Rifles will continue to do goodwill projects for the villages of Dima Hasao District. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for helping the village and providing assistance to them.
The gesture of 25 Assam Rifles under the Directorate General Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme (CAP) will help to foster good relations between the locals and the security forces. Construction of Public Toilet Block will go a long way in improving the civic amenities for the local people and enhance the relationship between locals and Security Forces. The villagers in turn assured whole hearted support to the Security Forces in the area.
