Haflong, March’22: The two days silver jubilee celebration and 10th Session of Nikhil Bharat Banga Sahitya Sammelan,Haflong ,Dima Hasao has concluded today. The program started on 21st March in the premises of Cultural Institute Hall, Haflong where inaugural flag was hoisted by the President, NBBSS, Haflong branch Dr Tara Nandi Mazumder flowed by group song Mooder Garab-Mooder Asha presented by the members of NBBSS, Haflong branch. A children festival was inaugurated by the Rathindra Kr Deb, President of the celebration committee for competition among the children’s on song, dance and poetry in different category with Anusuya Mazumder, Chandan Mazumder and Anirban Jyoti Gupta as bench of judges.
The conclusion day program was started with a rally from Cultural Intuited hall in the morning took part by different community with inaugural song presented by the Haflong Music College. On the day a multilingual Kabi Sammelan flowed by release of a book written by Bahim Ch Langthasa ‘Anadamarge Manbdharma’ released by Sr Writer Sukumar Sarkar from Kolkata. On the conclusion day Rajat Kanti Nath ,Secretary, NBBSS given the welcome speech and attended by the EM for Education, N C Hills Autonomous Council, Kulendra Daulagupu ,T. K Deb, Dy.Chairman, NCHAC and Prof. Sanjoy Dey of Nagaon College as guest of honour, while workshop on literature session was presided by Prof. Sanjoy Dey with theme Rabindra Nath child education and alternative youths and speeches were delivered by Prof. Sanjay Dey and Dr Taranandi Mazumder.The program ended with prize distribution ceremony, colourful cultural program and vote of thanks from Biseswar Chakroborty, convener of the event.
