Haflong, March 28, 2015: Three days conference of “All Dimasa Christian Conference” was held on 20th-22nd March 2015 at Khrist Jayanti School, Dhansiri, Karbi Anglong.
Hundreds of dimasa Christians and others from different parts of Assam, Manipur, Nagaland,Mizoram attended the conference.
The delegates enjoyed songs and colourful dances performed by children and youths from different churces during the conference. The main speakers of the conference were:-1) Rev Simon Khemprai2) Madam Nini Sekhose fron Nagaland 3) Pancham Khemprai from Haflong 4) Rt. Rev. Simon, Bishop of Ballosore, Orissa.
The conference was graced by Dr. Jayanto Rongpi, Ex.Mp, Karbi Anglong, Assam and Shri. S.K Khemprai, SDAO (Agri) Nagaland.
The Convener of the conference was Shri Dhiren Difusa Rtd. Addl. Secy (Government of Nagaland) and Advisors were Rev. Simon Khemprai and Fr. Tom, Principal of Khrist Jayanti School, Dhansiri.During conference it was unaniominously decided to form an apex body, All Dimasa Christian Association (Hosom) with its new office bearers as: 1)Atul Naiding(President)2) Shri. Babul Hasnu (Vice-President)3) Shri. Sanjeevan Langthasa (General Secretary)4) Shri. Sandip Hasnu(Jt. Secretary)5) Shri. Pancham Kemprai (finance secretary)
