Haflong, May’8: The 94th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Ananda Murtiji was celebrated in Haflong Dima Hasao who took birth on the ananda purnima in the 1921. Ananda Murtiji was the founder Ananda Marga ideology and philosophy.
On the occasion a day long program was started early morning from 5 AM with Panchjaina ,Milita Sadhana ,Guru Pujan and Kirtan flowed by recitation of Ananda Vani in different languages by the margis and devotees. A public rally was also organized where more than 250 people took part ,after the rally a public meeting was held which was presided by the Acharya Bahim Chandra Langthasa where discussion on progressive utilization theory on shelter, food education and health care and socio economic was held flowed by akhnada kirtan ,milita bhajan and yoga.
The program was attended by the Acharya Chinmoy Brmahchari District Secretary Ananda Marga ,Haflong ,Margis ,student ,teachers and huge public gathering
