Ceremonial Distribution of Tablet PCs to Students held at Haflong

Haflong, May 11: - Tablet PC’s distribution ceremony to students who passed the HSLC Examination ‘2014 in IInd Division with minimum 50% marks under Hon’ble Chief Minister’s Special Award Scheme ‘2014 was held today at the Cultural Institute Hall, Haflong.
The programme was organised by the District Administration and presided over by M. J. Thaosen, EAC, Dima Hasao.

 NCHAC Executive Member Kulendra Daulagupu graced the programme as the Chief Guest and in his short speech said that such type of award giving ceremony has been encouraging to the students and as a result, recipients of this award have been increasing with 394 students receiving the award for 2014. He stressed upon the students to adapt themselves in this era of information and communication technology.
 The programme was also attended by Rtd. IAS Officer Subash Longmailai., Inspector of Schools Gayatri Naiding, Senior citizen Obasting Pachau, Senior citizen Samsuddin Zeme, among a large number of teachers, students and parents from the District.
