Haflong, Oct. 14(Haflong News 18 Oct 2016): CHT Synod Higher Secondary School celebrated its 1st Alumni Meet on 10th of Oct. 2016 here in the school premises with full zest.
Established in the year 1970, CHT Synod H.S School is one of the oldest English medium school of Dima Hasao district.
The Alumni Association of the aforementioned school was formed on 2nd of Oct. 2015.
A day long programme began with the hoisting of flag by the first Head Master of the school. In the programme two session was held, the first session of the celebration programme was attended by Rev(Dr) Hrilrokhum Thiek as Chief Guest. Whereas, in the second session MLA BB Hagjer attended as Chief Guest. A souvenir was also released on the ocassion. Later in the evening Rock concert was also held where local artistes like Glandy, Colyn, Bethel, Windz Hamlet, Wayward Son performed along with the artists from Aizawl viz. The Prophets and Hlim Hlimi Hmar and amused the spectators.
