Haflong,
December 3,2020 : The MAC of Borail Constituency Amin Lenthang ceremonially inaugurated
the 25th Lower Kharthong Constituency EM Tournament 2020 today, December 3 at
P.Hnachangzol Playground, P.Hnachangzol village in Lower Kharthong Constituency.
The
opening ceremony was held from 12 Noon at the said ground, which was graced by the
Member of NCHills Autonomous Council from Borail Constituency Ngulminlal (Amin) Lenthang
as Chief Guest while Executive Member of NCHills Autonomous Council Ngamrothang
Hmar attended as Guest of honour and OC of Harangajao Police Station Bethel
Thiek was Special Guest.
Conducted
by J.Ringum Thiek, the ceremonial opening programme was started with opening
prayer by Upa Z.C.Thiek and Special number by Miss Crossmoi Thiek.
The
Chief Guest and Guest of honour addressed the gathering with encouragement of
the organizers as well as the players to play with true game spirit.
The opening
programme was concluded with closing prayer from Upa Thana Ralte.
Then,
the first and opening football match was played Hmunthazau vs Simtuiluong, wherein Simtuiluong team scored 3 goals, while
Hmunthazau team scored 4 goals and won the match.
As
per information from President of the organizing Committee Lalditzuol Khawbung
and Secretary Ngamchunglur, the tournament will continued upto 8th December.
Many
team from various villages will participate in Volley Ball and Football during the
tournament. As many as 21 team will participate in Volley Ball, and 19 team
will participated in Football events, they added.
