BHS Provides Relief Materials to Victim Family of Fire incident at Maibang

 

Haflong,
December 5, 2020 : Haflong based NGO, Blue Hills Society on December 4, provided
immediate relief to the Victim Family of Fire incident at Maibang, family of Lt.
Rothamon Langthasa.

 

It
may be stated that fire due to electric short circuit gutted down the house belonging
to family of Lt. Rothamon Langthasa on December 3, which totally damage the
household properties and their important documents.

 

As
per information from the family members, the fire occurred due to short circuit
at 7:30 AM on December 3. Immediately they informed the Fire Brigade about the
incident. However, the Fire service personnel arrived could arrive only after
30 minutes. As such, no property could be saved though they have doused the
fire. Luckily, there was no casualty.

 

With
aim to provide immediate relief to the victim family, the BHS team carried out
an emergency donation drive and collected Blankets and a bag of rice.

 

Then,
they visited Lt. Rothamon Langthasa's family there at Purana Maibang village in
Dima Hasao district of Assam on the 4th of December, 2020 and handed over the
relief materials to the family and promised to lend any further possible help
whenever needed.

 

The
team was led by Mr. Thaisringdao Langthasa, President, Blue Hills Society;
accompanied by Mr. Joshringdao Phonglo, Advisor, Blue Hills Society; Mr.
Bendoni Daolagupu, Advisor, Blue Hills Society; Mr. Deringdao Thaosen, Advisor,
Blue Hills Society; Mr. Ringsodao Naiding, Advisor, Blue Hills Society.
