Lions Club Served Lunch among Health Workers of Haflong

 

Haflong,
4^th June 2021 : In recognition of the service to citizens, the Lions
Club of Haflong Greater provided lunch pockets to the Health Workers at Haflong
Civil Hospital in Dima Hasao today.

The
Lions handed over altogether 220 packets of Egg Biryani with Drinking Water
bottles for all the Doctors, Para Medical Staffs, Office Staffs and Safai
workers, etc.etc.

This
was done “in honour of their commendable services to the society”, stated Lion
Abhijit Das, Secretary of Lions Club of Haflong Greater.

The
handing over programme was conducted by Secretary Lion Abhijit Das,  President (Elect) Lion Bisweswar Chakraborty, 1st
Vice President Lion Dilip Chorei and Service Chairperson LY 2021- 2022 Lion
Arup Deb.

Das
informed that existing President Lion Debashis Dutta is out of Station while
Treasurer Lion Nirmalendu kr. Deb is at home isolation. As such, the two could
not attend the programme.

Meanwhile,
the Additional Director of Health & Family Welfare Dr. Deepali Barman and Superintendent
of Haflong Civil Hospital Dr. Kalpana Kemprai thanked the Lions Club of Haflong
Greater and expressed gratitude on the concept of honouring the Health Department.
