Assam Rifles facilitated Surrender of Active DNLA Cadre at Umrangso

 

Haflong, July 23,2021 : One  active cadre of DNLA has  surrendered on July 21 in Umrangso COB, informed the AR sources

Haflong Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) facilitated surrender of an active DNLA Cadre from Umrangso. 

In an increased outreach to locals, aided by effective intelligence network, Battalion encouraged surrender of  cadres in Dima Hasao district. 

Encouraged by this one of the active cadre of DNLA has  surrendered on 21 July 2021 in Umrangso COB. 

After initial questioning the cadre was handed over to PS Umrangso.
