Photo Exhibition by DLSA at Haflong in Dima Hasao

 

Haflong, November 12, 2021 : 
Photo exhibition was organized on 12th November 2021  by the 
District legal service authority (DLSA) of Dima Hasao district at
premises of Additional Court building in Haflong.

The exhibition was inaugurated by District and Session Judge
Abubakkar Siddique in presence of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Panchali Shyam,
DLSA secretary Abdul Kader and other dignitaries.

The exhibition was organized 
in connection with celebration of 75th Years of Independence of the
country (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav), highlighting achievement of judicial
department.

Earlier, the DLSA had organized a series of awareness campaign
under PAN India outreach campaign across the district to spread awareness
regarding NALSA Schemes, Legal Services Schemes and other Govt. Welfare Schemes
etc..

DLSA front office co-ordinator, Karan Daolagupu told this
correspondent that the campaign started from 2nd October last and will conclude
on 14th of November.

“We have been organizing a series of awareness campaign with our
para legal volunteers (PLVs) across our district to aware and to provide free
and competent legal services to the weaker sections of the society and to
ensure that justice is not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other
disabilities and also organize Lok Adalats for amicable settlement of
disputes.” Daolagupu added.
