Earlier, the

submit their PRCs to the Revenue department
for verification within a month.

This was
stated by the Secretary, Revenue department Mr.

2022.

The Secretary
said that  suspecting  a case of PRC forgery, Lalnunpui Parate,  applied to the Revenue department for
verification of his PRC. On verification, the department found his PRC to be
fake and forged.

So, Mr.
Parate lodged an FIR to Haflong police station on June 7, stating that he had
requested one Albert Lalngaisang Selate to apply for PRC  for him and his elder brother, namely
Lalrambuotsai Parate, as he would be busy with
emergency duty.

Accordingly,
Mr. Selate gave him the PRC after some days. But the PRC looks like fake. As
such, he approached the Council authority for verification of the PRC.

Later,  the officials of the Revenue
Department found that the PRC, indeed was fake.

So, he filed
the FIR and the Police registered a case vide Haflong PS case No
