25 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division has taken up a number of development projects in remote area of Dima Hasao District of Assam to improve the living conditions and quality of life of villagers. As part of operation sadbhavana 25 Assam Rifles constructed Ring well at Village Kashipur (Haflong).
Construction of ring well has been applauded by the villagers, as it will improve the availability of water in the village and solve the water problem for ever. Commandant, 25 Assam Rifles, assured the villagers that the security forces would continue to work for the upliftment and development of the region. He also advised them to spread the massage of peace and harmony in order to strengthen national unity and integrity, and to come forward and assist the security forces and civil administration in maintaining law and order in the region.
