Continuing with its Civic Action Programmes, the Haflong based 25 Assam Rifles under aegis of Headquarters 22 Sector Assam Rifles conducted Pre Recruitment Traning for Local Youth at Haflong, Dima Hasao District (Assam) with effect from 09 Dec 2013 to 01 Mar 2014.
The Commandant, 25 Assam Rifles on completion of successful Pre recruitment Training handed over the training items/aids and study material to the local youth of Haflong. They were also provided with diet during their entire duration of traning. Commandant assured all present that the Assam Rifles will continue to do such goodwill projects for upliftment of the society. The candidates expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Assam Rifles for helping them in all possible ways. The gesture of Assam Rifles under the Directorate General Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme (CAP) will help foster good relations between the locals and the Security Forces. This training was aimed at enrolment of maximum candidates into Assam Rifles/Army so that the local youth could begin a new life, and have a secure future so that they could contribute positively towards the overall aim of Nation building.
