Distribution of relief materials by KCC Assembly

Songpijang,Haflong :  Rev Dr T Lunkim, Administrative Secretary of KCC Assembly distributed relief materials to landslide victims at Songpijang Haflong on 19 Aug 2012, in the presence of Rev.H.Haolai Executive Secretary, KCC Synod Assam, church leaders, victims of landslide.

 Rev Dr T Lunkim came from the office of the KCC Assembly, Dewlahland, Imphal and distributed tins for roof and some other assistances among the victims of the Kuki Christians.

The heavy landslide that occurred during heavy rainfall in June 2012 damaged many houses at M.Tilla, Songpijang area and others. Smt. Hoineng Lenthang (Singson) was nearly killed when the debris of landslide buried her. She was rescued by some witnesses. Four persons were killed and some injuired.
