Respected Sir,
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper I would like to aware all the citizens of Haflong about basic rights of human.
Human have inherent dignity and value. The way of recognising this worth is by acknowledging and respecting a person’s human rights. Human rights are concerned with equality and fairness. The basic rights of human are – Right to life, Freedom of Speech, Freedom from torture. Right to fair trail, Right to Health, Education and an adequate standard of living and justice. There should be no discrimination. All human rights are same for all people, irrespective of their caste, gender, religion, etc. Human rights are quite important. They allow us to live a life of equality and dignity.
Nowadays we can see that human rights Human rights are violated. Dowry, Child labours, child trafficking, early marriage, sexual harassment, rape are also the violation of Human Rights. Justice Delayed is Justice denied – this words that even make you a clear sense about the violations of Human Rights. The only remedy to estimate all sorts of Human Rights violation is to aware all people about their Human Rights. Right to information Act also provides safeguard against the violation of Human Rights. Our message to the public is that we have the right to speak against exploitation, if we know it, we can do it. So, speak against injustice for a better future.
So Sir, I request you to kindly publish a special feature on this issue of “Human Rights” so that more people can be aware of it.
