Haflong, Jan 23: A jugajug was organised at 43 Assam Rifles camp in Maibang from 11am on 13 Jan2015. A total of 63 gaon buda and 34 secretary/ 2nd gaon buda attended it.
This was conducted as a confidence building measure by 43 Assam Rifles and was aimed at bringing mutual harmony amongst various sections of the society.
A tea and lunch was also organised during the jugajug and after it respectively.
Gaon budas appreciated the efforts of 43 Assam Rifles in bringing peace and harmony in the area.
