Haflong, February 5: The Territorial Army 11 Gorkha Rifles stationed at Haflong organised a career counselling for students of Class IX, X, XI and XII for joining the Indian Army today. The session was organised at the Don Bosco School auditorium for both male and female candidates.
Many students from different schools participated the counselling session and interacted with Lt. Col. Nitin Shrestha who conducted today’s lecture and gave first-hand knowledge to qualify in the national level competitive examinations for joining the army. He also shared his experience and provided necessary guidance to avail jobs in various departments both in arms and services.The interactive session derived a huge response from the interested students which was seen in the discussion that followed at the end of the presentation. Pamphlets and CDs were distributed to the students to boost the morale and guide the motivated students. Almost all the schools in Haflong participated today’s career counselling.
