TA Conduct Free Medical Camp at Harangajao Under OP Sadbhavana

Haflong, February 7,2015 : The Territorial Army Battalion of Gorkha’s conducted a Medical Camp at Harangajao on 04 Feb 2015.
The Medical camp was conducted by the doctors and medical staff from the Army, District Health Society & Holy Spirit Hospital. 

Free Medical checkup was done, medicines were distributed during the camp, 235 people attended the camp. The response amongst the locals was overwhelming and they expressed that if such camps are organised regularly it will benefit the poor people, who are in need of medical services. The locals appreciated the initiative taken by the army and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the medical camp at their door step. Four medical camp & one veterinary aid camp has also been planned by the Territorial Army in Dima Hasao district this month as under:-
(a)     Medical Camp at Retzawl on 09 Feb 2015
(b)     Medical Camp at ME School Daudung Boro,  Mahur on - 10 Feb 2015.
(c)     Medical Camp at Lungdong ME School, New Haflong on - 13 Feb 2015.
(d)     Medical Camp at Miyungkhro Khasiabasti on 16 Feb 2015.
(e)     Veterinary Aid Camp at Daotuhaja on 18 Feb 2015.
Therefore, ‘INDIAN ARMY’ has further taken a step for sustained peace, prosperity and harmony in the Dima Hasao District.
