One Died In Accident near Haflong

Haflong, May’6: One person Subila Maibnagsa (30) residence of Disgao Razi, Haflong died when Sumo Vehicle bearing registration no AS08-5369 fell in to the deep road side ditch today.
The ill fated sumo left from Haflong to Lanka carrying eleven passengers and the incident occurred at 5:30 AM near Diyung bridge about 5 KM away from Haflong Town,Dima Hasao under Sarkari Bagan police Station when the driver side door of the vehicle suddenly opened and driver fell down in a curved road  while the vehicle fell down straight way to  in a deep ditch said one injured passenger of the said vehicle.
On information the police rushed to the spot and started the rescue operation and sent all injured passenger to the Civil Hospital, Haflong for treatment with severe and minor injuries.

Miraculously, one 4 month old baby was escaped unhurt in to the accident.  Other hand the police is investigating the whole incident and the body of Subila Maibnagsa was sent for inquest
