Haflong, Aug 31 (Haflong News):BJP ST Morcha Dima Hasao District Committee held its Executive Meeting on 17-08-2015 at Haflong to discuss its organizational matters and prevailing political situation of Dima Hasao district. Sri Suraj Naiding, District President of ST Morcha presided over the meeting and Sri Jugendra Langthasa delivered the welcome Speech.
This was stated in a e-press release by Suraj Naiding, adding that the meeting decided that Sri Bonen Khersa and Sri Bhakteswar Khersa, who joined BJP several months back, also be made as Vice-President and Secretary respectively of ST Morcha Dima Hasao District Committee.
The report, further, stated that the iInviteees of the meeting- Sri Depolal Hojai, Ex-C.E.M. of the Council, Sri Birat Langthasa and Sri Bimal Hojai, both Ex-E.Ms. of the Council, Sri Bosan Naiding, Dist. Vice-President of BJYM Dima Hasao District, Sri Bipanon Kemprai, President of BJP Haflong Mandal and several ST Morcha Members were present and delivered their speeches. Besides the discussion on Maha Sampark Abhiyan and other programs of BJP in Dima Hasao, it discussed prevailing Political situation and the local problems, highlighting the need of the hour to make common people aware of the, what they term “misgovernance and corruption prevailing in the present Congress-I-ruled Autonomous Council of Dima Hasao district, Non-payment of salaries Of ‘Normal Employees’ and other issues confronting Dima Hasao district.”
