Programme on Mission Clean & Green Dima Hasao launch at Haflong

HAFLONG, August 01, 2016 : With an aim to keep the district clean and promote all tourist spots for tourist attraction, Tourist Department organized a Programme on Mission Clean & Green Dima Hasao, today at Muolpong, Haflong under the leadership of  MAC Kulendra Daulagupu and Tourist Officer Nirmendu Kemprai.
The programme was formally inaugurated by  the Chairperson of N.C.Hills Autonomous Council Smti. Ranu Langthasamade in the presence of Executive Member Samuel Changsan; Secretary of N.C.Hills Autonomous Council and Chief Executive Officer of Haflong Town Committee Debanon Daulagupu ; Tourist Officials, other dignitaries, NGOs, SHGs, senior citizens, and general public.

The speakers on the occasion made awareness about the objectives of the programme and discussed about the improvement of tourist spots including road communication, infrastructures, lodging facilities, plantation by Afforestation department and other related beautifications to attract tourist and enhence the income sources, especially for local unemployed youth and also revenue of the N.C.Hills Autonomous Council.
