Haflong,Feb 14,2019 : Alongwith all the district headquarters of Assam the ceremonial distribution of Bank Loan Sanctioning letters were distributed to 118 nos of youth of Dima Hasao under the scheme Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth empowerment Yojana at Cultural Institute Hall, Haflong.
The programme was organized by District Industries and Commerce Centre,Dima Hasao ,Haflong.
After a welcome address by Melina Terangpi,GM, District Industries and Commerce Centre, Sarkari Bhagan , Haflong and felicitation programme, Lalita Rongpipi, Addl. Deputy Commissioner in her short speech suggested all the beneficiaries of the Bank Loan to utilize the loan money at best . Ranu Langthasa as guest of Honour, in her speech stressed upon creating awareness programmes on such scheme so that maximumnumber of peoples are benefitted by the scheme.
B.B Hagjer , local MLA as chief guest of the programme, in his speech at length described about the facts and measures of the scheme. He also talked about the policies of central as well as state government for developing the country under “Sabkha saath Sabka Vikash” irrespective of caste, creed,language and community.
The programme was also attended by Daulagupu, principal secretary,N.C.Hills Autonomous Council,Haflong, P.Barman,Chief Branch Manager ,SBI Haflong main branch and other dignitaries .The programme ended with distribution of loan sanctioning letters to beneficiaries and vote of thanks.
