Haflong, February 4,
2019 : With a conscious to ‘Being
clothed in clean and presentable clothes is a norm that brings cheer and
happiness to anyone’, the Rotary Club of Haflong Hills distributed clothes to
the poor at Haflong on February 2,2019.
The Club started a permanent clothes bank at Haflong
by installing the first collection cum
distribution site on February 2.
Free new and recycled clothes were distributed to the poor
underprivileged people which benefited
many people.
The Rotarians also
stated that clothes will be distributed every fortnight by members of Rotarians
free on Saturdays.
The Club
appealed to conscious citizens of Haflong to donate used but in good
condition clothes that can be recycled to the Clothes bank Project so that it
can reach the needy through the channels of the clothes bank.
