Election Control Room set up in DC office of Haflong

Haflong, March 12, 2021: Election  Control Room and Call centre, for the ensuing Assam Assembly Election 2021, has been set up in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Haflong. The room is in new building in the District Disaster Management Authority office room.

This was done as per order issued today by theDeputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer of Dima Hasao Mr. Paul Barua for setting up a Complaint Monitoring Control Room and Call centre on round-the-clock basis at the new building of Deputy Commissioner's office,  in the office room of District Disaster Management Authority.

It is to be noted that the persons engaged in the cell are detailed for roster duty so that the cell functions to receive or collect information relating to law and order situations and other election related matters round-the- clock. 

The cell will report to the appropriate authority for taking suitable action as and when required and be in close contact with Police Control room.
