Haflong, September 10, 2021 : The Chief Executive Member of N.C.Hills Autonomous Council Debolal Gorlosa last night condemned the burning of a house at Molsang village by miscreants on 6th September 2021.
The CEM, in his social media post says, “I am deeply saddened and shocked on hearing the news of horrible incident of burning of a house at Molsang Village under Diger Constituency by some unknown assailants. I condemn such cowardice act of violence to create disharmony and peace in Dima Hasao.”
He also said, “I can understand the pain of the villager whose house has been burnt, as for villagers their house is everything and burning down that dream snatches their mental peace. Our Council team would like to say that we all stand united with the villagers of Molsang and they need not to be in a mental state of fear.”
“Regarding this incident, I spoke with the Law & Order Administration and I stand to assure each and every citizen that our government is committed to the safety and security of each individual of DimaHasao”, Gorlosa added.
The CEM assured assistance to the villagers and to visit the village along with local MAC. He requested Dimasa Apex Body ‘Jadikhe Naisho Hashom’ to take step for prevention of misunderstanding and communal harmony.
