Haflong, 15th March 2023 : The Executive Member of North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council in-charge Medical inaugurated Health & Wellness Centre level health mela with the theme “TB and women Health”at Mahur Public Health Centre, Mahur in Dima Hasao district on 14th March 2023.
Speaking on the occasion, EM Samuel Changsan thanked the Government and the Council leadership for providing more and more facility to the public. He also expressed hope that the people of area would surely get the benefit of all these facilities.
The EM also handed Nikshay Nutrition Kit to the TB patients during the programme.
Short speech on TB and women health was delivered by Dr. Chongneng Changsan DTO along with Sickle cell by Dr. Mairingdi.
Thereafter, screening of general public by CHO, along with ABHA ID creation as well as Ayushmaan Card was done by Health Staffs.
Sputum was collected from Pregnant Women and other suspected patientspatients.
Altogether 45 (forty five) persons have done registration, NCD screening to 22 (twenty two) Patients, TB screening to 22 (twenty two) Patients, Ayushmaan Card ID generated for 32 (thirty two) and 4 (four) Ophthalmic Patients.
