The Members were administered oath by the District Commissioner Simanta Kumar Das in English, Hindi, Dimasa and other local languages. As ordered by the state government, the District Commissioner is to preside first meeting of NCHAC for oath or affirmation and election of the chairman of NCHAC.
The Programme began with singing of Jatiya sangeet by all the people present during the ceremoney. The elected member mostly came in their traditional attire along with their family members.
Debolal Gorlosa, CEM of the NCHAC came to the oath taking ceremony adorned in Dimasa traditional risha along with his family.
Noteably the issue of notice for Election of chairman was done today to which the last date for filling of nomination to the secretary of Legislature at NCHAC is till 12 noon on 20th January i.e tomorrow. The election for the post of the chairman is to be held on 21st January, 2024.
