Review Meeting Held in haflong

 

11^th Dec, Haflong: A review meeting was jointly chaired by Kaushik Rai, Minister, Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs, Mines & Minerals, Government of Assam, Nandita Gorlosa, Minister for Sports & Youth Welfare, Government of Assam and Debolal Gorlosa, Chief Executive Member, NCHAC, at the Circuit House, Haflong today. The meeting was held to review the progress of the 4-Lane East–West Corridor (NH-27) from Jatinga to Harangajao and the Lumding–Badarpur Railway Line.

During the meeting, the progress of ongoing works, inter-departmental coordination, and issues affecting timely completion were reviewed in detail.

 The Ministers and CEM directed the concerned departments to take prompt and coordinated action to resolve pending issues and ensure timely execution of the projects.

 During the meeting, officials from NHAI presented a detailed progress chart displaying the chainage-wise status and completion timeline of the 4-Lane East–West Corridor project.”

The meeting was also attended by Donpainon Thaosen and Lalremsiama Darnei, Executive Members, NCHAC, Principal Secretary, NCHAC, Partha Johari. The District Commissioner, Dima Hasao, Munindra Nath Naghtey ACS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dima Hasao, Project Director, NHAI, Divisional Railway Manager, Lumding Division, N.F. Railways, and Additional District Commissioners, along with officials from PWD (R&B), and other line departments.
