September 15 - The Officers and Employees’ Association of the Dima Hasao Autonomous Council offer sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to Tarun Gogoi, the Chief Minister, Assam for his sincere efforts and prompt action towards the payment of pending salary of the Employees ( Normal) of DHAC, Haflong amounting to Rs. 15.00 crore only by accommodating in the State Budget 2011-12, stated in a joint press release by the Prsesident and Secretary of DHAC Officers Association M.Kemprai and R. Khersa; President and Secretary of DHAC Employees Association D.Bathari and L.Chorai today.
The joint press release was read out and handed over to the local media persons in a press meet held at the Conference Hall of the DHAC today at 5pm by the President of the DHAC Officers Association M.Kemprai.
The employees also thank N.K.Das, Chief Secretary to the Govt. of Assam for his initiative in releasing the amount to the Council without delay before ensuing Durga Puja Festival.
They, further, thank Debojit Thaosen, the Chief Executive Member of DHAC for “his dynamic and tireless efforts in taking the initiative seriously to highlights our plight at the highest level and got released the amount for payment of the pending salary of the employees and without his initiative this could not have been materialize”, concludes the release
