2nd Quarter Raijor Podulit Raijor Sarkar -2015 meeting Held

Haflong, April 10: The 2nd Quarter (Round) meeting of Raijor Podulit Raijor Sarkar was held in Dima Hasao district covering the Autonomous Council constituencies. The programme was carried-out in five Development Blocks by RPRS constituency wise team members.
  The programme was presided over by the Block Development Officers and in-charge within their jurisdiction. On 4th April/2015, the programme was held at Constituency under Diyungbra ITDP Block, on 6th April under DVD Block Maibang, on 7th April under Harangajao ITDP Block and JVD Block Mahur, simultaneously the program was ended on 8th April/2015 at New Sangbar Development Block,.
The RPRS meetings were held on the theme of social security and women empowerment covered by Social welfare,






Education, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Labour & Employment, Panchayat and Rural Development, Handloom & Textile and Sericulture department etc.The meetings took stock of public grievances throughout the district and informed the public about the action taken for the 1st round meetings of RPRS. The meetings discussed on the theme of Social security & women empowerment in Dima Hasao district and how to cope with the related grievances through Raijor Podulit Raijor Sarkar programme. The meetings were attended by the representatives of concerned departments, dignitaries,Gaon Burahs, NGOs, Social workers, Senior citizens and  a large number of community in general.
