Agitation if Our Demand are not Conceded’ - NCHACEU

Haflong, May 14: The North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council Employees Union decided to launch agitation again if the authorities do not conceded with their charter of demand within 30th May 2016. This was resolved in the general meeting of the Union on May 14,2016 in the premises of the Union’s Office near the Council office, Haflong from 11 am onwards, informed the Union sources.
The meeting, .presided over by its president Prasanna Hasnu, resolved to place their charter of demand to the authority that the Council’s move to withdraw 119% D.A order should be reviewed as Council employees are also eligible as enjoyed by state govt. employees’ i.e 119%. Secondly, the council’s move to cancel regularisation of fixed teacher to regular teacher should be reviewed. Earlier regularisation order should remain in tack. Thirdly, regularisation of normal teacher to non-plan should be made on seniority basis. Fourthly, seven months pending salary of the employees should be immediately releases and fifthly, no action should be taken against Donmai Thaosen for participation in media talk show on March 30, 2016.
