Orientation programme held for Jan Bhagidari- Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle

 

Haflong, May 18: — An orientation meeting was held today at the DC conference hall chaired by DC Dima Hasao, Gayatri Hyalinge, IAS, regarding a special outreach programme titled, Jan Bhagirdari- Sab se door, sab se pehle”.

          This special outreach programme commences from May 18^th  to 25^th  across tribal habitations in the state. Similarly in Dima Hasao too, the programme will formally commence in all five development blocks covering all villages. As per the discussions held during the meeting, Gram Sabhas and plantation drives will be organised in the villages on May 19 onwards. As part of the programme, entitlemet drive, saturation camps and health screening camps at village level on daily basis is to be held.

          While transect walks and announcements regarding Jan Sunwai grievance hearings will also take place on May 20, applications and grievances under the Jan Sunwai programme will be received during the programme including fast track mobilization of daily basis, followed by consolidation. The concluding session of the week-long campaign will be held on May 25 in the presence of district, mandal and village-level officials, where future action plans will also be discussed.
